Katana

Katana On Stand (Samurai Sword) by MadeByYeshe, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

Adapted for Samura: in the installation bay the complete model rests on its stand; in revision 16's opening the sword alone is re-posed, relit and animated within an original film-cut scene, with its original textures. The creator does not endorse this website.

The sword that cuts the film in the opening: Antique Katana 01 by Tal Swicegood, from Poly Haven, CC0; posed, relit and animated within the film-cut scene, its steel polished by its own maps.

Brush / Ecset

The brush stroke on the buttons and in the footer is the character 一 (“one”) by the Zen monk Jiun Onkō (1718–1804), from Passage from an Inscription on Trust in the Mind (Xinxinming), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, public domain (CC0). Lifted off the museum's scan and laid in the Samura red, the ink's own edges, dry streaks and grain kept.
